On Tuesday September 10, 2024, Korean media reported that actor Seo In Guk will collaborate with female idol Blackpink's Jisoo in the Korean drama " Monthly Boyfriend ". Both are said to take on the main roles - a couple of lovers.
“Monthly Boyfriend” is a romance drama about registering a boyfriend in a virtual world, where the relationship in the virtual world continues in real life. The drama is directed by Kim Jeong-sik of “Strong Woman Doyoung” and “Drunk Ladies.”
At the end of August 2024, “Monthly Boyfriend” attracted attention when it was announced that Jisoo (Blackpink) would appear as the female lead.
