Atlantic Records is a record label for a number of famous musicians, ranging from Cardi B, Charlie Puth, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Silk Sonic, and others. BLACKPINK's Rose is a woman born in 1997 with the full name Roseanne Park who was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia.
She officially entered the music industry by signing a contract with YG Entertainment after auditioning in 2012 and becoming a trainee before debuting in the girl group BLACKPINK in 2016. Rose previously made her solo debut through a single album titled R when she was still under YG Entertainment in March 2021.
The project consisted of two singles titled On the Ground and Gone which featured collaborations from Jon Bellion and Amy Allen. On the Ground even achieved success by reaching position no. 70 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Rose is also active in the fashion world by becoming a global ambassador for Yves Saint Laurent, Tiffany & Co., and Puma. The news of her joining Atlantic Records comes after her BLACKPINK bandmate Jennie announced that she had collaborated with Columbia Records.
Meanwhile, Lisa became the first BLACKPINK member to sign with a global record label, RCA Records, for a partnership with her own label, Lloud Co., in April 2024. On the other hand, BLACKPINK through YG Entertainment has been confirmed to make a comeback and a new world tour in 2025.
