The film 'Cell' is back on Trans TV Cinema. This thriller genre film airs on Monday September 2, 2024, precisely at 23.00 WIB. The story of 'Cell' is adapted from the novel of the same name by Stephen King. It was Tod Williams who brought the story to the big screen.
Tod Williams' previous works include 'The Adventure of Sebastian Cole' (1998), 'The Door in the Floor' (2004), and 'Paranormal Activity 2' (2010). 'Cell' stars John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson, as well as Isabelle Fuhrman and Clark Sarullo.
Clay Riddell is described as an artist who is disappointed with his life. It has been a year since Clay decided to move away from his wife and son. Clay finally intended to go home. While at the airport, he contacted his son and informed him of his return.
But shortly after he greeted and spoke to announce his return via video call, the network was cut off. The connection to contact his son again ended up with an error in the telephone network. Clay tried to reconnect several times but to no avail.
Clay then notices around him where people then start acting strangely. Anyone who is using the phone suddenly acts strangely and starts attacking each other. The situation suddenly becomes chaotic.
