NCT's Yuta successfully held a series of showcases for his solo debut in Japan titled ' Hope ' with all tickets for the shows in 5 cities sold out. Quoting from Naver on Tuesday October 29, 2024, Yuta opened his solo debut tour in Japan on October 5 and 6, 2024 in Fukuoka.
With a total of 9 shows in 5 major cities in Japan, Yuta successfully sold out all tickets for his shows. Including shows in Hyogo, Aichi, Tokyo, and Osaka. This proves Yuta's popularity, not only as a member of the boy group NCT. But also as a solo singer. On this occasion, Yuta showed off a different side of himself by transforming into a super cool rock singer.
The last show in Osaka held on October 26 and 27 at the Main Hall, Civic Cultural Center Lumiel Hall, Yuta performed all seven songs from his first Japanese mini album titled 'Depth.' Including the title track 'Off The Mask.' In addition, there were also performances of the songs 'Save You,' 'Last Song,' 'Prisioner,' 'Goodbye,' 'Butterfly (Depth Version),' and 'Bad Euphoria.'
In total, the 29-year-old idol performed a total of 13 rock songs throughout his solo debut showcase in Japan. Including previously unreleased songs, such as 'Two Of Us' and 'New World.' Including featuring cover songs from Japanese musicians' songs, such as Nakashima Mika's 'Glamorous Sky' to the rock band L'Arc-en-Ciels' 'Lose Control'.
Yuta also explained to fans how meaningful his solo activities in Japan this time with local fans were, by sharing behind-the-scenes moments related to the process of making his first Japanese solo mini album 'Depth.' Closing the stage of his Japanese solo debut tour 'Hope' Yuta said, "I was able to successfully release my Japanese solo album and complete this showcase tour thanks to the fans."
"This tour is my first step, so please keep an eye on my development in the future. I will show you other sides of myself, including music and acting," he added. On the other hand, the physical album for NCT Yuta's debut mini album titled 'Depth' will be officially released on November 13, 2024.
