Singer and actor Park Ji Hoon seems to be starring in a new film by director Jang Hang Joon. On October 10, 2024, YTN Star reported that Park Ji Hoon has been cast as the lead in the historical drama 'The Man Who Lives with the King' and is scheduled to begin filming early next year.
He will play King Danjong in this film and show a different character transformation from before. The film will be produced by BA Entertainment, the production company known for the success of the 'The Outlaws' series, and will be distributed by Showbox. A Showbox official confirmed to YTN, "It is true that we are discussing actor Park Ji Hoon's appearance."
'The Man Who Lives with the King' depicts the story of King Danjong, the 6th king of Joseon, after he was exiled to Yeongwol, Gangwon-do. This is director Jang Hang Joon's first historical film, and Park Ji Hoon will star alongside Yoo Hae Jin, who was previously confirmed to star in it.
