Welcoming the release of the latest mini album ' Frequency ' on November 25, 2024, boy group WayV finally shared the teaser or album promotion schedule through uploads on their social media accounts.
Quoting from X's official account, WayV Official, on Wednesday October 30, 2024, Kun and friends will start promoting their sixth mini album 'Frequency' on November 11, 2024 by releasing Mood Sampler content.
Next, the release of Teaser Image 1 - 5 content will be shared from November 12 - 16, 2024. Followed by the release of the music video for the pre-release song 'High Five' on November 19, 2024. Followed by the release of Teaser Image 6 and 7 on November 20 and 21, 2024.
Character Highlight Clip content will be released on November 22, 2024. As well as the release of Frequency MV Image on November 23, 2024; followed by Frequency MV Teaser on November 24, 2024. The release of Frequency Album & MV Release (Korean Ver.) on November 25, 2024.
The Chinese version music video for the title song 'Frequency' will be released on December 2, 2024. Along with the teaser schedule for the sixth mini album 'Frequency,' WayV also shared a teaser schedule poster with a unique data wave image display.
The animated characters of the five WayV members including Kun, Ten, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang are also featured in the right corner of the poster. Adding a unique side, as well as increasing the curiosity of fans.
Unfortunately, for the comeback of the latest mini album 'Frequency' this time, member Winwin will be absent again due to his individual schedule clash in China. Winwin also missed a number of comeback schedules with WayV this year.
Including the comeback mini album 'Give Me That' in June. As well as the debut Japanese mini album 'The Highest' last September. He was also absent from WayV's first solo concert titled 'On The Way' which is currently taking place this year.
Along with that, WayV also shared details of the pre-release song 'High Five' which will be officially revealed on November 19, 2024. 'High Five' is an energetic dance song that combines vintage brass sounds, 808 bass, and various synth sounds.
An interesting combination of retro pop and old-school hip hop will also be present in this song. The lyrics of the song, which will be performed in Korean, contain a positive message about sharing high five gestures and heading towards the top together.
