BTS's Jin thinks that doing solo activities actually has advantages compared to working in a group. This was conveyed by the oldest member of BTS when appearing on the show "Salon Drip 2" which aired on Wednesday November 6, 2024.

In his conversation with the host, Jang Do Yeon, Jin was asked about his first solo album which will be released soon, which is on November 15th. "You will be making a comeback soon, right? And this is your first solo album, where only you are on the cover. How do you feel about that?" asked Do Yeon.

"There was a time when I had to perform just one day after being discharged from the military, and without the other members, it was scary and stressful. It was really hard to figure out how to fill those quiet moments alone," Jin explained.

However, Jin then surprised Do Yeon with his unexpected confession. "I was so worried, wondering, 'How am I going to get through this?' But once I got used to doing it on my own, I really enjoyed it," he added. Do Yeon was curious as to what made Jin feel happier doing solo activities than working as a group.

Jin explained, "When we work on a group album, everything has to be decided together, and everyone has their own opinions about the music, choreography, which performances we should do, and so on. But with this solo project? I can skip anything that I think is less important or that I don't want to do. That's great."

With a note, Jin will do whatever the fans want, even if he didn't agree to it before. For Jin, ARMY (his fans' nickname) is everything. "Of course, if there's something that my fans really want, I'll put it in. For this album, it actually started with me thinking, 'I want to send a message like a letter to my fans.'

So, I conveyed that to the team, and they said, 'Okay, let's do that,'" said the idol who was born in 1992. With a smile, Jin ended by saying, "Being able to plan and create things exactly as I imagined has allowed me to pour a lot of my own ideas into this album." Fans are looking forward to the release of Jin's first solo album titled "HAPPY".
