G-Dragon donated all the prizes he won after winning a quiz on the You Quiz on the Block show on Wednesday October 30, 2024. He sent the prizes to the anti-drug foundation , JusPeace Foundation. The donation was confirmed when the episode featuring G-Dragon aired.

Korea JoongAng Daily also reported that the musician donated 1 million won from the quiz challenge. JusPeace Foundation is an anti-drug foundation established by G-Dragon on August 5 after he was cleared of drug abuse charges. The name of the foundation combines the words "Justice" and "Peace".

The musician who sang the song POWER serves as honorary chairman, while Choi Yong-ho, CEO of Galaxy Corporation, acts as chairman of the board. While chatting on the show, the BIGBANG leader briefly discussed the situation "that was beyond my control and not my fault."

This was conveyed after more than half of his life was in the media spotlight. He did not describe the situation in detail, but the audience assumed that he was referring to the drug case allegations that dragged him in October 2023.

GD then explained how he dealt with the difficulties he was experiencing at that time by saying, "I tried to overcome it to the limit (of what I could handle), but I felt like I was cornered with no answer in sight."

The musician said he is now enjoying a more stable life through meditation and practicing the tea ceremony. His appearance on You Quiz on the Block was his first appearance since he last visited the variety show Healing Camp in 2012.

He did this ahead of the release of his newest single, POWER, on Thursday October 31, 2024. POWER is GD's latest comeback as a soloist after releasing the EP Kwon Ji Yong in 2017. GD is also said to be performing at the 2024 MAMA Awards.

The upcoming appearance will be GD's latest moment on the MAMA stage after last performing in 2015. G-Dragon is scheduled to perform at the peak event held on November 23. He will also meet other musicians, aespa, INI, ZEROBASEONE, Lee Young-ji, Meovv, BIBI, and (G)I-DLE.
