BLACKPINK's Rosé officially launched her first solo studio album titled rosie on Friday December 6, 2024. The album release was accompanied by a music video (MV) for her third single titled toxic till the end. The nearly 4-minute MV features Rose and Evan Mock as a couple.

The video opens when Evan Mock asks for a ride from the car driven by Rose. The two of them then became lovers and spent time together, from running in the park, jumping into the pool, to playing chess together. However, there is a scene that shows Rose and Evan Mock arguing like when the two of them argue while playing chess.

The scene becomes the color for the song toxic till the end which carries a pop nuance. The MV also seems to describe the lyrics of the song which talk a lot about a toxic relationship with an ex-lover. The MV toxic till the end was directed by Ramez Silyan, a director who has previously worked on music videos for songs by The Kid Laroi, Daniel Caesar, Post Malone, and Charli XCX.

On the other hand, Rosie's album contains 12 songs produced under THEBLACKLABEL and Atlantic Records. The album begins with the song number one girl which was released on November 22, 2024. Then, there are also other songs, such as 3am, two years, toxic till the end, and drinks or coffee.

APT. which is Rosé's single with Bruno Mars is in sixth place on Rosie's album. Next, there are also gameboy, stay a little longer, not the same, call it the end, to too bad for us and dance all night. This album was written by Rose with international hit musicians and producers, such as Bruno Mars, D'Mile, Omer Fedi, Carter Lang, and Sir Dylan.

Rosé also collaborated with Amy Allen, the international hit singer songwriter for songs by musicians Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, and Sabrina Carpenter. Rosie's album is the musician's first project released under her new agency, THEBLACKLABEL. However, all activities with BLACKPINK are still under YG Entertainment.
