G-Dragon is known to be releasing a new album titled Übermensch at the end of February 2025. Recently, news circulated that G-Dragon will collaborate with aespa's Karina for the latest music video. aespa's Karina is reportedly set to star in the music video for one of G-Dragon's latest songs on the album Übermensch.
The news was first reported by Daily Kyungjae on Thursday February 13, 2025. G-Dragon's agency, Galaxy Corporation, has also been asked for information about this news. Unfortunately, until now G-Dragon's agency has not provided any clarification.
The agency only said that it is currently difficult to provide confirmation of the news. Karina aespa herself is one of the most popular K-Pop idols in South Korea today. So it's no wonder that many famous artists and brands want to collaborate with her.
The 2000-born idol is also known to have starred in various music videos for other K-Pop idols, such as SHINee's Taemin's WANT to TVXQ's Yunho's Vuja De. He is also known to have collaborated with EXO's Kai for a Hyundai car launch project.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon's album titled Übermensch is planned to be released on February 25 and contains eight songs, including two previously released songs, namely HOME SWEET HOME which collaborates with BIG BANG's Taeyang and Daesung and POWER.
The concept of the Übersmench itself describes an individual who transcends conventional morality, social norms, and limitations. An Übersmench is said to create his own values, living with purpose, strength, and self-mastery.
