Ahn Hyo Seop is reportedly considering a new romantic drama project titled 'Today, Sold Out' (working title). The news was first reported on March 17, 2025, and Ahn Hyo Seop's agency, The Present Company, has confirmed that the actor is currently reviewing the offer.
Reporting from Soompi on Tuesday March 18, 2025, 'Today, Sold Out' is described as a healing rom-com drama that tells the story of two individuals who are very dedicated to their work, but feel there is an emptiness in their lives.
Over time, their encounters cause both of them to begin to heal their inner wounds and fall in love. In the drama, Ahn Hyo Seop was reportedly offered the role of Matthew Lee, a mysterious farmer who unexpectedly gets involved in a romance with Dam Ye Jin, a home shopping host who suffers from chronic insomnia.
The drama will be directed by Ahn Jong Yeon, known for his work on 'Seoul Busters', and written by new writer Jin Seung Hee. The drama is scheduled to air on SBS in 2026. If Ahn Hyo Seop accepts this offer, it will be the actor's return to the romantic comedy genre after the success of 'Business Proposal'.
Previously, he was also known for his roles in popular dramas such as 'Dr. Romantic 2', 'Dr. Romantic 3', and 'Lovers of the Red Sky'. With a successful track record in this genre, many fans are eagerly awaiting confirmation of his involvement in this latest project.

He also works with the main character, Yoo Joong Hyuk, to change the storyline and save the world. In this film, Ahn Hyo Seop will act alongside Lee Min Ho, who plays Yoo Joong Hyuk, as well as a number of famous stars such as BLACKPINK's Jisoo, Chae Soo Bin, Shin Seung Ho, and Nana.
