Kim Soo Hyun officially canceled his fan meeting event which was going to take place in Taiwan on March 30, 2025. On March 25, 2025, 7-Eleven Taiwan, the brand that held Kim Soo Hyun's fan meeting event announced the cancellation of the event via social media accounts.

They said the fan meeting event of the South Korean actor was canceled. "We regret to inform you that Kim Soo Hyun will not be able to attend the fan meeting scheduled for March 30, 2025 due to scheduling conflicts. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our members.

Ticket refunds are now in process," their statement read. The organizers also have no plans to reschedule the fan meeting. According to Allkpop, the local industry estimates that Kim Soo Hyun is expected to receive a penalty of 1.3 billion Korean won.

Kim Soo Hyun was originally scheduled to attend the Kaohsiung Cherry Blossom Festival on March 30, 2025. He will participate in a fan meeting event on the last day of the festival for 40 minutes. However, because Kim Soo Hyun was caught in a scandal with the late Kim Sae Ron, many of the actor's activities were canceled.

One of them is the shooting schedule for his latest drama, Knock Off. The drama was supposed to start preparing for its second season. But because of the scandal, Kim Soo Hyun had to postpone the filming. He was also rumored to have to pay hundreds of billions of Won if the drama project was canceled.

In addition to fan meetings and dramas, many brands have withdrawn from their collaborations with Kim Soo Hyun. The man who was once dubbed the most expensive actor in Korea is currently suffering a huge loss due to his controversy with Kim Sae Ron.
