'The Art of Negotiation' star Lee Je Hoon has revealed that he wanted to show a new side of himself through his white-haired appearance. At the press conference for JTBC’s new weekend drama The Art of Negotiation held on the afternoon on March 6, 2025, director Ahn Pan Seok commented on Lee Je Hoon’s platinum hair styling.
Ahn said, “The SLL CEO brought the script and asked me to take a look at it. After reading part 1, I frantically looked for part 2, which was a first for me.” He continued, “In that script, the lead character was described as having white hair, and that became imprinted in my mind.
I couldn’t imagine any other hairstyle,” adding, “To do the white hair styling, he had to come four hours earlier than everyone else. He pulled it through until the end,” praising Lee Je Hoon. Regarding this styling, Lee Je Hoon explained, “As an actor, I had the desire to show a new side of myself.
I was worried about things like ‘Will viewers understand why the character has white hair?’ and ‘Will I be able to pull it off well?’ But considering Yoon Ju No is a man who thinks over and over again before acting, it could be understandable,” adding, “I took courage to try it, and I’m really happy with the result.”
Meanwhile, Korean drama 'The Art of Negotiation' follows the exploits of Yoon Ju No, an M&A expert at a major corporation called a legendary negotiator, and his team. It will premiere on Saturday March 8, 2025 at 10:30 PM KST.
