Ahn Jae Hyun Recalls Being Labeled a Troublemaker During His School Years

Ahn Jae Hyun uploaded a video of himself going to a barbecue campsite on April 4, 2025. While enjoying the camping atmosphere, he happily recalled his first camping experience as a sixth grader. 

Ahn Jae Hyun mentioned that he was a member of the Korean Scouts at the time. However, the memories quickly turned bittersweet as the actor shared painful memories. "At that time, my family was in a very difficult financial situation. 

We didn't even have a landline," he said. Because of that, Jae Hyun was accused of being a troublemaker. "Because I left the phone number section blank on the school form, my teacher seemed to think of me as a troublemaker," he added. 

According to Ahn Jae Hyun, this led to his teacher forcing him to join a youth organization. Ahn Jae Hyun was even stricter than the others. "I think they think I'm a troublemaker. I think my height also gives that impression, so people often misunderstand me," he confided. 

Ahn Jae Hyun also added with a sigh, "I spent the entire school year just trying to clear up that misunderstanding." Ahn Jae Hyun's honest confession managed to touch the hearts of fans. On the other hand, Jae Hyun previously revealed shocking details about his car accident and how it affected his career. 

He shared that when he was young, his only dream was to become a rich father. "I thought as long as I could make money from work, I didn't care what I did," Ahn Jae Hyun confessed. However, things changed drastically when the star of "The Real Has Come" was only 20 years old. 

He had a pretty bad accident. "I had a traffic accident. I was sitting in the passenger seat of a taxi and was involved in a side-impact accident. I broke two ribs, and when I woke up, there was a tube inside me. My lung had ruptured," he recalled. 

The accident left Ahn Jae Hyun hospitalized for six months. During that time, the "Love With Flaws" star had plenty of time to reflect. "I thought I couldn't be an actor or a singer, but since I'm tall and my face is like this, maybe I can try modeling," the actor added.
