On the other hand, "The Confidence Man" is from a Japanese series with the same title. The story is about three credit fraudsters called Confidence Man. They form a team to steal money from greedy people and evil companies or mafia, using any means.
The Japanese version of "The Confidence Man" aired from April 2018 on Fuji TV. The series managed to gain incredible popularity to the point that it was made into a movie and also a special broadcast for Fuji TV's 60th anniversary.
The Korean adaptation of "The Confidence Man" will be directed by Nam Ki Hoon of "Big Bet" and "Destined With You". The script is written by Hong Seung Hyun of "Criminal Minds" and "Cheo Yong". The production team is currently still in the process of filming.
Meanwhile, Min Young is also currently considering an offer to star in a drama titled "Siren". The drama tells the story of Greek mythology, where Sirens are half-bird, half-woman creatures who lure sailors to their doom with their enchanting songs.
“Siren” will be a Korean adaptation of the 1999 Japanese series “Kôri no sekai” (also known as “Ice World”), which follows an insurance investigator who becomes entangled in a mysterious case surrounding the death of a female teacher.
