SHINee's Key recently showed his new house to fans through the TV program "I Live Alone" broadcasted by MBC. However, not everyone was impressed. The idol's house tour sparked debate among netizens.

Key's new residence is located in UN Village, Hannam-dong, a luxurious area with only eight households.. His 80-pyeong apartment features three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Han River. Key's new luxury apartment costs around 6 billion KRW.

The idol's house left Park Na Rae in awe of the stunning view, and she said, "This is definitely in the top three best views I've ever seen." During the episode of "I Live Alone," Key prepared a porch for his dog, bought camping equipment, and a gas grill.

The "Amazing Saturday" member also shared his thoughts on what a home should be like. Key said, “Because I lived with my parents, I always believed that a home should be a sanctuary, a fortress, a playground, a restaurant, and a bar all at once.

If a home gives you all of that, then you are truly living well.” The latest episode of “I Live Alone” showing Key’s new luxury home recorded a peak viewership rating of 8.2% percent, making it the #1 show on Friday. However, a debate has arisen among netizens.

Some fans admire Key's house, but others are uncomfortable. Many long-time viewers prefer relevant homes like those previously shown by Yook Joong Wan, Defconn, and Kian84, rather than multi-million dollar apartments.

" Why hate on celebrities? Let them enjoy their success [sic!] ," one netizen wrote. " They worked hard for their dream home—what's the big deal? [sic!] ," another netizen said. " Watching this makes me feel broke [sic!] ," another added.

" I missed the show when they showed other mansions ," another netizen continued. " Are all celebrities this rich? [sic!] ," another netizen said. " I miss Yook Joong Wan's old house [sic!] ," another netizen concluded.
