It's official! Seunghan will no longer be continuing with the group RIIZE. On the morning of June 11, 2025, SM Entertainment briefly announced through an official statement: " Seunghan ( XngHan, under the agency SM Entertainment) will begin a new adventure as a solo artist in July."
Seunghan chose his stage name "XngHan," using the letter "X," which symbolizes both infinite possibilities and the broad meaning of crossover. Starting in late July, he will officially begin solo activities, and his debut project includes collaboration with two dancers.
Seunghan originally debuted as a member of the boy band RIIZE, but his activities were suspended indefinitely after private photos from his training period were leaked to the press. Among them was a photo of him getting close to a woman in a motel.
He also made comments mentioning a member of a girl group, which sparked criticism. Last October 2024, SM Entertainment unilaterally announced Seunghan's comeback in RIIZE, but the decision was met with strong opposition from fans.
