BIGHIT MUSIC has provided an update on legal steps against various violations to protect the rights and privacy of BTS members, including the attempted burglary of Jungkook's house some time ago.

Through an official statement on the global fan community platform Weverse on June 30, 2025,  BIGHIT MUSIC revealed that they have been conducting intensive monitoring of various platforms, including online communities, music streaming sites, and international social media, to collect evidence related to violations.

The agency has filed lawsuits against perpetrators who spread malicious posts in various communities. "In the third quarter of 2024, several lawsuits filed have resulted in fines, and we will continue to take responsibility until all cases receive adequate results," the agency said.

BIGHIT MUSIC also confirmed that a police investigation is currently underway regarding an incident of attempted trespassing at the residence of one of the BTS members. The agency has submitted evidence, including CCTV footage, to support the legal process so that the perpetrator gets the appropriate criminal penalty.

"We are actively cooperating with the police to ensure that the perpetrator is punished according to the law," they added. In addition, BIGHIT MUSIC emphasized that they will immediately report to the police any act of stalking against BTS members, which could lead to the immediate arrest of the perpetrator as a serious violation.

The agency also filed a no-approach order to protect the artist's privacy and safety. "We will not give the slightest leniency to actions that threaten the privacy and safety of BTS members," BIGHIT MUSIC said.

The agency also stated that BTS, who have now returned to fans after completing their mandatory military service, should not be harmed by malicious rumors or derogatory remarks. "We will continue to increase our protection efforts more strictly to ensure BTS can operate without interruption," the statement concluded.

Previously on June 11, 2025, on the day Jungkook returned from his mandatory military service, a woman in her 30s was arrested by the police for trying to enter the artist's house in Yongsan District, by repeatedly entering the door passcode.
