BTS officially announced their comeback with a new album in spring 2026! This announcement was delivered directly by the seven members through a live broadcast on the Weverse platform on July 1, 2025. In their first broadcast since completing their military service, BTS revealed that they will begin preparing for a new album starting in July 2025.

“We will return to our original spirit and work together to incorporate all the members’ ideas into this album,” said RM. They also announced plans for a massive world tour that will kick off in conjunction with the release of the new album, promising to visit various parts of the world to greet fans.

This world tour will be the first since the “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE” tour which ended in 2022 and managed to attract around 4 million viewers through a combination of live concerts, online streaming, live viewing, and live play.

BTS also shared plans that all members will be leaving for the United States in July to begin music production and tour preparations. In addition, they discussed their recent individual activities, including Jin's fan concert titled '#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR' which was held on June 28-29, 2025 in Goyang.

Other members who attended the concert praised Jin's performance, saying, "Jin was really amazing, especially his piano playing. This is a concert that only Jin can do." Meanwhile, J-Hope, who recently finished his solo tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE', will perform as a headliner at the Lollapalooza Berlin festival on December 12-13, 2025 at the Olympiastadion, Berlin, Germany.

The other BTS members expressed their full support, commenting, "We are really looking forward to his performance, he will definitely be amazing!" BTS's 30-minute live broadcast recorded over 7.3 million real-time views, indicating the overwhelming enthusiasm of fans. This is their first group live broadcast since September 2022, adding a special meaning to ARMYs around the world.
