BTS's Jungkook surprised everyone by creating another Instagram account. He previously created an Instagram account in 2023, but then deleted it. On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, he revealed his account name, @mnijungkook.
In a live broadcast, Jungkook revealed the meaning of the username. "This (account) is mine. (MNI) stands for 'my name is' Jungkook," Jungkook said in the broadcast. This account has over 7.2 million followers.
Furthermore, it appears to be following other BTS members' Instagram accounts. Jungkook previously had an Instagram account with 50 million followers. However, he deleted it because he felt he wasn't interested in social media.
Until now, Jungkook has not shared any updates on his Instagram account, starting from profile photos and recent uploads. Jungkook recently completed his mandatory military service on June 11, 2025, along with Jimin.
He also revealed his busy schedule working on a new album with BTS and a world tour. He also created a variety show with Jimin entitled Are You Sure?! which went into its second season.
