PENTAGON's Hui has officially terminated his exclusive contract with CUBE Entertainment after nine years. The agency released a statement, providing an update on Hui. Previously, Hui underwent nose surgery after suffering an injury while filming the show The Gentlemen's League 4, which is a sports show.

"After discussions, our exclusive contract with HUI has officially ended. Since his debut as PENTAGON's leader and vocalist in 2016, HUI has consistently demonstrated his talent and passion," CUBE Entertainment said on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.

“Even though our exclusive contract has ended, CUBE Entertainment continues to provide full support during her recovery from surgery,” he said. The agency will support Hui during his recovery until he can return to his normal activities.  At this time, the agency also expressed its gratitude for Hui's involvement as a singer and producer.

"We are incredibly grateful for Hui's dedication and hard work over the years. We ask for your continued support and love as he embarks on a new journey," CUBE said. Hui is a producer and idol who debuted with the group PENTAGON in 2016.

In October 2023, five members of the group, namely Yuto, Kino, Wooseok, Yeo One, and Yan An, chose to leave CUBE Entertainment. This year, Jinho also ended his exclusive contract and left CUBE last April 2025. Despite this announcement, the members stated that they are still pursuing their careers as PENTAGON.
