Park Bo Gum has been officially appointed as Korea's tourism promotion ambassador for 2025. This announcement was made by the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism through the official YouTube channel "Imagine Your Korea" on July 24, 2025 along with the release of the teaser video for the Korean tourism campaign.

The video stars Park Bo Gum as the main star, marking his role as Korea's newest Tourism Promotion Ambassador. Previously, the ministry and the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) partnered with a number of top stars, including BTS in 2022, Lee Jung Jae in 2023, and NewJeans in 2024, to promote Korea's charms to the world.

Park Bo Gum, who gained global popularity through his role as young Gwansik in the Netflix drama 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' earlier this year, will be promoting Korea's tourism attractions with authenticity for the next year.

The Ministry and the KTO also plan to release two major commercials and a short video starring the actor. Interestingly, Park Bo Gum also sings the commercial's theme song, "On My Way," which will be available on various digital music platforms today.

In addition to his busy schedule as a tourism ambassador, Park Bo Gum recently completed his role as Yoon Dongju in the JTBC drama "Good Boy." He is also currently hosting the KBS2 music show "The Seasons – Park Bo-gum's Cantabile," which will conclude on August 1, 2025.
