WayV has finally announced their latest album comeback this year. After teasing fans by promising a new album comeback in the near future, WayV has finally officially announced the title and comeback date of their latest album.
Titled ' Big Bands ' WayV will officially release their seventh mini album on July 18, 2025. For this latest album comeback, WayV will only appear with 5 members. Following member Winwin who is still busy doing solo promotions in China.
Meanwhile, as reported by Naver on Monday June 30, 2025, WayV's seventh mini album 'Big Bands' will consist of 6 songs in it. Including the Korean and Chinese versions of the title song with the same title. This album will be officially released on July 18, 2025, at 13:00 KST.
This is WayV's first comeback in 2025. It is also the first comeback after 8 months since they last released the album 'Frequency' in November 2024. This album will also present a different musical side from Kun and friends.
On the other hand, WayV received a lot of love and support from fans through their latest album 'Frequency' which successfully entered the top 5 of iTunes Top Album Charts in 19 countries at once shortly after its release. The album also managed to perch at number one on the AWA Real Time Rising Chart, Japan.
And managed to win trophies on a number of weekly music stages, by taking home 3 trophies at once. This is an extraordinary achievement, considering that WayV is a boy group consisting of foreign members, and is a sub-unit of NCT that focuses on promoting in China.
Accompanying the announcement of their latest album comeback, WayV also shared the album's poster image. Appearing in a mysterious style where the members appear wearing white sleeveless tops and face coverings.
The poster image is also presented with a dim concept, as if they were a group of mysterious band members who have never revealed their identities. Inside the potser there is also a yellow sticker with the words Big Bands and a picture of a character that steals attention.
This new concept makes fans even more curious about what kind of music WayV will carry on their latest album this time. Not only busy with the preparation of the latest album comeback, WayV is now also busy with the preparation of their latest concert tour series.
WayV's second tour titled '2025 WayV Concert Tour - No Way Out' will start on August 2 and 3, 2025. Taking place at the Olympic Hall, Olympic Park, Seoul. From Seoul WayV also greeted their fans in several other cities in Asia.
Including visiting Shenzhen, Nanjing, Nagoya, Osaka, Yokohama, Fukuoka, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Chengdu, Taipei, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Beijing. A total of 14 cities in several countries in Asia will witness WayV's second concert titled 'No Way Out' this time.
But unfortunately, for their second concert tour this time, WayV skipped the city of Jakarta, Indonesia. After last year they had stopped by to hold a concert titled 'On The Way.' Meanwhile, WayV's seventh mini album titled 'Big Bands' will be officially released globally on July 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM KST.
Pre-orders for the album have also been officially opened starting today, June 30, 2025 at all online and offline stores simultaneously. Wow, who can't wait to welcome the release of WayV's latest album? And looking forward to their latest concert tour series this year.
