BTS's Jungkook issued a stern warning to those who violated his privacy by visiting his residence without permission. In a live broadcast via the fan communication platform Weverse on September 1, 2025, Jungkook firmly stated, "If you come, I will lock you up."
This statement refers to two recent incidents of privacy violations he experienced. Last June, on his military discharge day, a woman in her 30s from China attempted to enter his home by pressing the door password.
Recently, on August 31, 2025, a Korean woman in her 40s was arrested by police as a criminal on the spot after entering the parking area of Jungkook's house in Yongsan, Seoul, without permission. In his live broadcast, Jungkook recounted his experience monitoring the perpetrator via CCTV.
"I saw everything on CCTV. When the police arrived, he (the perpetrator) was trying to open the door in the underground parking area. He said he was my friend." "It's true that ARMYs are family and friends, but this is sad," he said, sounding disappointed.
He also added, "I really appreciate your support, but coming to my house like this, what's the point?" Jungkook sternly warned, "Don't come. If you enter my parking lot, you won't be able to leave unless I let you.
Everything is recorded on CCTV, and I saw it all. If you don't want to deal with the police, don't come in." Regarding the latest incident, the woman in her 40s who was arrested admitted to police that she entered the house thinking it was a friend's house.
However, during the investigation, she eventually confessed to her actions. Police are still investigating the case to determine further details. Jungkook concluded his statement with a pleading tone, "Please, don't come. I just want my privacy respected."
