BTS's V has once again attracted attention after reportedly purchasing a luxury residence in an upscale area of Seoul. The property was purchased for a staggering 14.2 billion won.
Surprisingly, BTS's V purchased the apartment outright without any loans, demonstrating his success as an idol and global ambassador for a renowned fashion house.
This was confirmed through property registration data released Wednesday (September 24, 2025). BTS V's apartment unit is located in the PH129 complex, formerly known as The Penthouse Cheongdam.
The complex has since been renamed to its current address at 129 Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, Seoul. The apartment, measuring 273.96 square meters, consists of two floors with five bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The initial purchase agreement was signed in early May 2025, and V BTS paid in full on Wednesday (September 17, 2025). The Cheongdam area is known as a luxury residential area chosen by Korean celebrities and athletes.
In addition to BTS's V, actors Jang Dong Gun and Go So Young, professional golfer Park In Bin, and star lecturer Hyun Woo Jin have also purchased apartments at PH129. As reported by Koreaboo, this apartment boasts a luxurious interior design with high ceilings and two separate kitchens on each floor.
The master bedroom features a walk-in closet and a modern bathroom with state-of-the-art technology. Each room is designed with maximum natural light, with large windows, and some rooms also have private balconies.
Now, many curious fans have begun searching for photos of BTS's V apartment unit. BTS's V's achievement of purchasing an apartment unit outright has garnered praise from Korean netizens, especially considering his relatively young age.
The "Rainy Days" singer is only 29 years old. "The fact that he bought it with cash really makes me jealous. That money is probably just small change to V," commented a netizen on a Korean community forum.
"Even winning the lottery twice wouldn't be worth that much money," netizens chimed in, highlighting the fantastic price of BTS's V's house. "I'm jealous because he's young and rich," said another netizen who was jealous of BTS's V.
