Actor Chae Jong Hyeop will be acting alongside Lee Sung Kyung in the latest romantic Korean drama. On Thursday (September 25, 2025), Jong Hyeop and Sung Kyung were confirmed to be starring in the drama In Your Radiant Season. The drama airs Fridays and Saturdays on MBC.
In Your Radiant Season tells the story of Sunwoo Chan, a man who lives his days full of joy and fun and a woman named Song Ha Ran, who is very introverted and has a very cold personality. Lee Sung Kyung plays Song Ha Ran, the head designer at Nana Atelier, a top Korean fashion house.
She is a perfect woman with no flaws. However, Ha Ran is very withdrawn due to the pain of the past, after losing a loved one. Her introverted personality changes when she meets Sunwoo Chan. The character is played by Chae Jong Hyeop.
Sunwoo Chan is a designer working at a world-renowned animation studio. Despite being known as cheerful and fun-loving, Sunwoo actually harbors deep pain from a mysterious accident in the past. After meeting Ha Ran, Sunwoo begins to discover mysteries from his past that have not been revealed so far.
In Your Radiant Season is directed by Jung Sang Hee, who previously worked on Fanletter and Please. The script is written by Jo Sung Hee, known for 30 but 17 and She Was Pretty.The production team stated that Chae Jong Hyeop and Lee Sung Kyung can bring the two characters to life in this drama.
