LEB Entertainment agency denied the news that South Korean actor Park Hyung Sik received a fantastic salary of 400 million won per episode for his role in the latest KBS 2TV Korean drama, TWELVE.
In its official statement, the agency confirmed that reports regarding Park Hyung Sik's fees from Dr. Slump to the latest project were untrue. "Reports regarding actor Park Hyung Sik's appearance fees, from Dr. Slump to TWELVE, are not based on facts.
Due to the continued circulation of misinformation as if it has been confirmed, we are releasing this official statement," explained LEB Entertainment on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
Furthermore, the agency also emphasized that Park Hyung Sik always approaches every project with seriousness. "Park Hyung Sik continues to approach each project with sincerity. We also greatly appreciate your warm support for his future projects," he added.
Previously, local media reported that Park Hyung Sik received a total payment of around 40 billion won for eight episodes of TWELVE, a figure that then caused controversy among the public regarding the salary standards of top Korean actors.
