The Korean drama 'My Youth' aired its first episode on Friday September 5, 2025. In its premiere, the drama aired two episodes simultaneously. In its first two broadcasts, the romantic drama starring Song Joong Ki and Chun Woo Hee achieved quite promising ratings.
According to Nielsen Korea, this drama achieved a rating of 2.9 percent for the first episode and 2.8 percent for the second episode. Meanwhile, another recent drama airing in the same time slot, Queen Mantis, achieved high ratings, reaching 7.1 percent.
Synopsis My Youth tells the story of Sun Woo Hae (Song Joong Ki), a former child star who withdrew from the entertainment world because the fame he had left behind a heavy burden and trauma.
Having long disappeared from the entertainment world, Sun Woo Hee now lives a simple life as a novelist and owner of a small flower shop. Sun Woo Hee's life is peaceful until she reunites with her first love, Sung Je Yeon (Chun Woo Hee), after a decade of separation.
From that meeting, the story of My Youth will roll, touching on the past, wounds that have not healed, and opening up new opportunities to re-weave the story that had stopped. 'My Youth' will be shown on JTBC and airs at 8.50pm (KST).
