BLACKPINK is reportedly preparing a new album targeted for release in mid-December 2025. According to an exclusive report from Xports News on October 16, 2025, BLACKPINK originally planned to release a digital single in the second half of the year, followed by a full album.
This plan was realized with the release of the single "JUMP" last July 2025. Despite their busy schedule with their 'DEADLINE' world tour, BLACKPINK is still working on their new album in between tours. Originally scheduled for release in October or November 2025.
The album was pushed back to December to ensure the best quality for fans. This album marks BLACKPINK's first release since the release of their second studio album in September 2022. Following the success of 'JUMP', expectations for this new album have been high among fans.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is still busy with their 'DEADLINE' world tour, which has successfully concluded in North America and Europe. The group will continue their tour to several major cities in Asia, including Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, to meet their loyal fans, BLINKs.
