BLACKPINK's Jisoo came with good news. On Monday (October 6, 2025), Jisoo officially announced plans to release her new duet single, " Eyes Closed, " with a male musician. However, she is keeping the musician's identity a secret.
In the announcement, Jisoo shared a teaser photo showing herself wearing a black dress with very long hair. In the background, there's a silhouette of a mysterious man posing with his back to her.
"The duet is near," wrote the BLISSOO account. After the poster was released, it was speculated that the male musician Jisoo would be collaborating with was singer Zayn Malik. Although unconfirmed, many fans are convinced it's Zayn Malik.
"For non-Kpop stans, this is basically like Jisoo featuring Zayn," wrote @goo***. "ZAYN????," tweeted the account @low***. "Jisoo and Zayn," commented the account @@b_l***.
Suspicions of a collaboration between Zayn Malik and BLACKPINK's Jisoo grew stronger after Gigi Hadid's ex-boyfriend was spotted attending BLACKPINK's concert in New York last July 2025.
Zayn also expressed his gratitude to BLACKPINK for the invitation. Previously, BLACKPINK's Jisoo debuted as a solo singer with the song " Flower," released in 2023 by YG Entertainment.
Afterward, Jisoo released a solo mini-album titled "Amortage" on February 14, 2025. The album consists of four songs: "Earthquake," "Your Love," "Tears," and "Hugs & Kisses. " Jisoo's latest project also marks her first collaboration with other musicians as a solo artist.
