Many netizens were curious and began guessing about Kim Jong Kook's wife's identity. However, through his agency, Kim Jong Kook denied that he was married to a Los Angeles-based cosmetics company CEO in her 30s.
On October 9, 2025, Kim Jong Kook shared a glimpse of his honeymoon as a newlywed couple in Paris. He started his day by working out at the hotel gym at 6:30 a.m., as exercise has become a habit for him.
"People always ask if I'll still work out on my honeymoon, and of course I do. Most hotels have gyms. Some say it can cause arguments, but if I go while my wife is sleeping, it's no problem," he said.
On that occasion, Kim Jong Kook revealed that his hotel offered views of the Eiffel Tower. He admitted the price was high, but commensurate with the view. "We booked it upon arrival, right on the spot!" he explained.
However, many netizens misread the footage of their hotel room. The silhouette of a woman standing in front of the window filming the interior of their hotel room, strongly suspected to be Kim Jong Kook's wife, was spotted.
When asked if his wife likes to exercise, Kim Jong Kook replied, "Not really, but she's quite slim." Her Running Man variety show co-star Yang Se Chan also mentioned that his wife has “perfect square shoulders and impressive height.”
The vlog, titled "Hotel Breakfast Workout," is now no longer available on the GYM JONG KOOK YouTube channel. Netizens suspect the video was removed due to the appearance of Kim Jong Kook's wife.
