SEVENTEEN's special unit, S.Coups x Mingyu (CxM), has just made history with their debut mini album 'HYPE VIBES'. The album immediately skyrocketed to number one on the Hanteo Chart, breaking the record for the highest sales of a K-Pop unit album of all time.
According to Hanteo Chart data released on October 6, 2025, 'HYPE VIBES' managed to sell 887,581 copies in just one week from its release on September 29 to October 5, 2025. This figure not only dominated the weekly charts, but also proved that the charismatic duo of S.Coups and Mingyu have incredible appeal as a unit.
In fact, they broke this record even faster—on the fourth day of release (October 2), sales had already surpassed 840,000 copies. In Japan, the album remained at the top of the Oricon Daily Album Ranking for three consecutive days, setting a daily record.
Meanwhile, in China, its dominance on QQ Music was equally impressive—reaching No. 1 on the Digital Bestseller Album EP charts for both the daily and weekly categories. In fact, the album was immediately certified Triple Gold by QQ Music after reaching sales of 750,000 yuan.
