Stray Kids' Bang Chan celebrated his birthday with a donation. On Friday October 3, 2025, he donated a total of 2 billion won to two organizations: Samsung Hospital Seoul and UNICEF Korea Committee, each donating 1 billion won.
Donations to Samsung Hospital Seoul will be used to support medical expenses for pediatric and adolescent patients. Meanwhile, donations to UNICEF will be used for programs in health, nutrition, clean water, sanitation, education, protection, and emergency assistance for children in areas of greatest need around the world.
For this contribution, Bang Chan officially joined as a member of the UNICEF Honors Club, an award for major UNICEF donors. In his statement, Bang Chan expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thanks to the precious love and support from fans on my birthday, I was able to share my warmth.
I sincerely hope this donation can be a small encouragement for children to have brighter dreams and a better tomorrow." This isn't the first time Bang Chan has shown his compassion.
On his previous birthday, he donated 1 billion won to Love Fruit, a social welfare organization in Korea, and was inaugurated as a member of the Honor Society for his contributions. This year, he again demonstrated his commitment to helping those in need.
