Jung Sung Il, best known for his role in the hit series The Glory, is staying busy despite recent personal news. His agency confirmed on October 15, 2025 that he is reviewing offers for two new dramas, just a day after the actor announced his divorce.
XYZ Studio announced yesterday that Jung Sung Il and his spouse have decided to end their marriage after careful consideration over a long period of time. The agency emphasized that the split was an “amicable decision” and asked the public to avoid any distorted or speculative reports. The couple, who married in 2016, shares one son.
Professionally, Jung is considering a role in the SBS baseball drama Full Count (literal title), which follows the intense competition between coaches in the world of men’s pro baseball. He has reportedly been offered the part of a pitching coach. He is also in talks for Netflix fantasy romance Beauty in the Beast.
The series tells the story of a woman who transforms into a beast when she gets angry, a man who hides his own anger and one of the last remaining werewolves on Earth. Other rising stars like Kim Min Ju, Moon Sang Min and Lomon have also been linked to the project.
