ONE ALPHA DRIVE, has released a warm-up single ahead of their debut next year. The single, titled "Formula," was written by the maestro composer and frequent songwriter for SM Entertainment artists, KENZIE.
KENZIE wasn't alone in producing this single. She collaborated with Adrian McKinnon, Jonatan Gusmark, and Ludvig Evers. These names are certainly familiar names in the K-Pop scene. WAKEONE describes Formula as an energetic dance single.
The beat is incredibly fast, perfect for those looking for a lively song during those sleepy hours. ALPHA DRIVE ONE premiered this song on stage at the 2025 MAMA Awards late last month. The group, whose name is shortened to ALD1, will officially debut on January 12, 2026.
They will release an album titled Euphoria, with the single Formula included in it. ALPHA DRIVE ONE debuted with an 8-member formation, namely Lee Sang Won, Zhou An Xin, He Xin Long, Kim Geon Woo, Zhang Jia Hao, Lee Leo, Chung Sang Hyeon, and Kim Jun Seo.
All members were signed to an exclusive eight-year contract with WAKEONE to perform with ALD1. This is the longest contract Mnet has ever signed with an agency that debuted a group from their survival show.
Mnet further explained that the group, whose members come from China and Korea, will be active not only in the domestic K-Pop scene, but also abroad. The fandom has been formed during the broadcast of Boys II Planet so it is very promising for them to fly and promote to various countries.
