NCT's Jisung demonstrated his social responsibility on his birthday. He reportedly donated 250 million won to Seoul Samsung Hospital on February 5, 2026. The hospital confirmed that the donation will be allocated specifically to support pancreatic cancer research.

These funds are expected to aid the development of precision medicine and future research into other incurable diseases. Jisung said his decision to donate stemmed from empathy for patients battling serious illnesses.

"My heart often feels sad when I see patients suffering from incurable diseases." "Even though the amount is small, I hope this donation can help medical technology research so that more people can live happy lives without pain," said Jisung.

He also emphasized that this initiative is inseparable from the role of his fans, NCTzens. "I can participate in this sharing thanks to the love and support of Czennies. As a way to repay the affection I've received, I want to work together to create a warmer world," he added.

This isn't Jisung's first time providing humanitarian aid. Previously, in March 2025, the 2002-born singer donated 50 million won to the Fruit of Love organization to aid the recovery of the Yeongnam region affected by forest fires.
