aespa's Winter shows extraordinary social care by extending help to those in need. On March 19, 2026, SM Entertainment announced that Winter had donated 100 million won each to the UNICEF Korea Committee and Samsung Medical Center.

Thanks to this significant contribution, the UNICEF Korea Committee also officially announced that Winter has now joined the UNICEF Honors Club. Funds distributed through UNICEF will be allocated entirely to support children in conflict and disaster areas.

This assistance includes physical and psychological care, nutritional support, health services, and efforts to support healthy and holistic child development. This step is expected to ease the burden on children who have lost their basic rights due to crisis situations in various parts of the world.

In her official statement, Winter revealed that her main motivation was the desire to share the immense love she has received from her fans. She expressed the hope that all children, wherever they are, can hold fast to their dreams, receive an education at school, and enjoy a normal daily life without being hindered by the difficult circumstances they face.

The Secretary-General of the UNICEF Korea Committee, Cho Mi Jin, also expressed her deep appreciation for the artist's generosity. She emphasized that many children are currently facing increasingly difficult conditions due to ongoing conflicts and disasters globally.

They are very grateful for Winter's valuable contribution, which they hope will help children around the world restore their peaceful lives. On the other hand, donations given to Samsung Medical Center will be focused on helping with the medical and rehabilitation costs of patients who are experiencing financial difficulties.

Winter said she wanted to provide any support she could in the recovery process for these patients. She promised to continue offering sincere encouragement so they could return to health and resume normal daily activities.
