TWICE's Dahyun, is reportedly going to temporarily halt all activities to focus on recovering from her illness. JYP Entertainment, the agency that manages TWICE, released an official statement on March 25, 2026.
They explained that after in-depth discussions regarding Dahyun's physical condition, the top priority at this time is complete rest and recovery. Based on a more in-depth medical examination after returning to South Korea, Dahyun was diagnosed with a fracture.
The ankle problem had been detected at the start of her world tour in the United States, where she had undergone routine treatment. "We have decided that proper rest and recovery are more important than continuing activities at this time.
Dahyun will focus fully on her treatment and will return to the group once her condition allows her to perform choreography again," said a JYP Entertainment representative. Even without Dahyun, TWICE is continuing their busy world tour schedule.
They recently completed a concert at the Taipei Dome (March 20–22) that attracted 120,000 people. The tour will continue across North America in 8 cities, starting from Orlando (March 27–28) to Austin (April 17–18).
JYP Entertainment also apologized to fans (ONCE) who have been waiting for Dahyun's performance on stage and promised to provide full support so that the artist can recover quickly.
