Former LE SSERAFIM member Kim Garam has officially begun a new chapter in her acting career. On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, Management KOO announced that they had signed an exclusive contract with Kim Garam.
The agency stated that the decision to recruit Kim Garam was based on the artist's immense potential and dedication. "We have been closely monitoring Kim Garam's YouTube activities and have been deeply impressed by her limitless potential as an actress, as well as her sincere attitude."
"The most important factor behind the decision to sign this exclusive contract was seeing his relentless efforts and consistent self-development in pursuing his dreams," said a representative of KOO Management in an official release.
The agency also revealed that Kim Garam is currently undergoing intensive training to hone her acting skills. Furthermore, she is preparing for the international stage by actively studying English and Japanese, as well as self-taught herself to play musical instruments like the guitar.
They have seen Kim Garam's rapid growth and are fully committed to supporting her future career. Before deciding to focus on acting, Kim Garam's career path attracted considerable attention.
She first gained public attention when she debuted as a member of the girl group LE SSERAFIM in May 2022. However, due to controversy surrounding alleged bullying during her school days, she suspended her activities just two weeks after her debut and eventually officially left the group.
After leaving the idol music industry, Kim Garam chose to focus on her education, entering Konkuk University in 2024, majoring in Media Acting. As a first step toward reconnecting with the public, she launched her personal YouTube channel in March of this year.
