Huawei has just announced the latest member of the P40 series of smartphones called the Huawei P40 Lite 5G, an upgraded version of the Huawei P40 Lite that the company launched two months ago. The device is identical to the previously launched nova 7 SE.

The Huawei P40 Lite 5G phone is powered by the new HiSilicon Kirin 820 5G octa-core chipset. The device features a 6.5-inch LTPS LCD panel with HDR 10 support at Full HD+ (1080 x 2400) resolution.

The smartphone packs a 4,000 mAh battery which is a downgrade from the 4,200 mAh battery unit on the HUAWEI P40 Lite.‌

The Huawei P40 Lite 5G device comes in three colour options: Crush Green, Space Silver and Midnight Black. It’s available for pre-order in Europe, official sale starting on May 29 for a price of €400 (~$430) with a free pair of Freebuds 3.
