The Redmi 9 is an upcoming smartphone by Xiaomi.
Xiaomi Redmi 9 is rumoured to come with a 6.53-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The phone is said to measure 164.90 x 77.07 x 9.00mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 196.00 grams.
Xiaomi Redmi 9 is rumoured to run Android 10 operating system. The phone expected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor and come with 2GB of RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi 9 is expected to be powered by a 5000mAh battery.
As far as the cameras, the Xiaomi Redmi 9 is rumoured to pack a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a second 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. It is expected to sport a 5-megapixel camera on the front for selfies, with an f/2.2 aperture.
Xiaomi Redmi 9 runs MIUI 12 based on Android 10 operating system and packs 32GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 512GB) with a dedicated slot. The phone tipped to be a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that will accept Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards.
Connectivity options on the Redmi 9 are said to include Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks) with active 4G on both SIM cards.
Sensors on the Xiaomi Redmi 9 are rumoured to include accelerometer, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The phone supports face unlock. It is said to launch in Midnight Grey, Sunrise Orange, and Twilight Blue colours.
