Asus ROG Phone 5 smartphone was launched in India on 10th March 2021. The new phone comes in three distinct models – the regular ROG Phone 5, ROG Phone 5 Pro, and the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate.

The Asus ROG Phone 5 comes with a 6.78-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x2448 pixels at a pixel density of 395 pixels per inch (ppi). The phone measures 172.80 x 77.20 x 10.29mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 238.00 grams.

The Asus ROG Phone 5 runs Android 11 operating system. The phone is is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM and is powered by a 6000mAh battery. The Asus ROG Phone 5 supports proprietary fast charging.

The Asus ROG Phone 5 on the rear packs a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture; a second 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a third 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 24-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.45 aperture.

Asus ROG Phone 5 is based on Android 11 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The Asus ROG Phone 5 is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. It was launched in Phantom Black and Storm White colours.

Connectivity options on the Asus ROG Phone 5 include Wi-Fi 802.11 Yes, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks) with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor.
