Oppo Reno 5 Lite smartphone was launched on 24th March 2021. The handset comes with a hole-punch display and quad rear cameras. The new phone is a rebadged Oppo F19 Pro that debuted in India earlier this month and reached Kenya as the Oppo Reno 5F.
The Oppo Reno 5 Lite comes with a 6.43-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels at a pixel density of 409 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone measures 160.10 x 73.20 x 7.80mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 171.00 grams.
The Oppo Reno 5 Lite runs on Android 11 operating system. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P95 (MT6779V/CV) processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM and is powered by a 4310mAh battery. The Oppo Reno 5 Lite supports VOOC fast charging.
The Oppo Reno 5 Lite on the rear packs a 48-megapixel primary camera; an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture; a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.4 aperture.
The Oppo Reno 5 Lite runs ColorOS 11.1 is based on Android 11 operating system and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card. The handset is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards.
Connectivity options on the Oppo Reno 5 Lite include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks). It was launched in Black and Purple colours.
Sensors on the Oppo Reno 5 Lite include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The Oppo Reno 5 Lite supports face unlock.
