Samsung Galaxy M42 5G has been revealed as the cheapest 5G phone from the company. The handset comes with Snapdragon 750G octa-core processor, quad rear camera, and 5G connectivity. It is a rebranded version of Galaxy A42 5G that has been revealed globally last year in October.
Samsung Galaxy M42 5G comes with a 6.6 inches Super AMOLED Display with HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 619 GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is accompanied by up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The handset is running on Android 11 operating system with One UI 3.1 on top.
The smartphone boasts a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with F/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 5-megapixel portrait lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The phone sports a 20-megapixel selfie snapper under Infinity U shaped notch with f/2.2 aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G comes equipped with a 5000mah battery and supports 15W fast charging. In terms of connectivity on the smartphone includes 5G, 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The phone also includes an under-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of Dimensions, the Galaxy M42 5G measures75.9 X 164.4 X 8.6mm and weighs 190g only. The device comes in two colour options Prism DOt Black and Prism Dot Grey.
Samsung Galaxy M42 5G variants have not been shared by the company yet but the phone comes with an introductory price of (Rs. 19,999). The phone will go on sale starting from 1st May via Amazon.in.
