Huawei Nova 8i has been debuted in Malaysia. It is the successor of the Huawei Nova 7i which was launched back in February 2020. The smartphone comes with a Snapdragon 662 So8, 64-MP Quad rear camera and 4,300mAh battery with 66W fast charging technology.
As for the specifications, the Huawei nova 8i comes with a 6.67-inches IPS LCD FHD+ (2376 x 1080 pixels) resolution display, 180Hz touch sampling rate, super-thin bezels and a dual punch hole cutout on the top left corner.
Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 662 chipset and coupled with 8GB + 128GB storage. In terms of OS software, the device runs on Android 11 OS operating system with EMUI 11 on top . The Huawei Nova 8i is backed by a 4,300mAh battery with 66W fast charging technology.
In terms of camera, the smartphone is equipped with a Quad rear camera setup that houses a 64-Megapixel (primary) camera with an f/1.9 aperture + 8-Megapixel (ultra-wide) sensor + 2-Megapixel (depth) sensor + 2-Megapixel (macro) sensor. For selfie and videos, it boasts a 16-Megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
For connectivity options, the Huawei nova 8i has Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2.4 GHz/ 5GHZ support, 3.5mm headphone jack and a Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The sensor onboard includes accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, compass and a side mounted fingerprint sensor.
In terms of pricing and colour options, the Huawei Nova 8i comes in a solo version of the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that is priced at RM1299 (around Rs.23,294). The smartphone comes in Interstellar Blue, Moonlight Silver, and Starry Black color variants.
