The South Korean tech giant introduced a new smartphone to its F series portfolio called the Samsung Galaxy F22 launched in India. The handset comes with Amoled Display, MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, Quad rear camera setup and 6000mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy F22 features a 6.4 inches AMOLED HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) resolution display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch design. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 74mm x 160mm x 9.4mm and weighs 203g.
Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, ARM Mali G52 GPU and coupled with up to 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. The Samsung Galaxy F22 runs on One UI Core 3.1 with Android 11 OS out of the box.
In terms of camera, The smartphone is equipped with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-Megapixel (primary) camera + 8-Megapixel (Ultrawide) sensor + 2-Megapixel (Depth) sensor + 2-Megapixel (macro) sensor. On the front, the handset comes with 13-Megapixel snapper for selfie and video calls.
The Samsung Galaxy F22 is backed by a 6000mah battery and supports 15W fast charging technology. In terms of connectivity, it includes the support of 4G, dual sim slot, 3G, W-fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, and NFC support.
The sensor on the smartphone includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, ambient light sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. In terms of colour options, the handset comes in Denim Blue, Denim Black color variants.
The base variant of the Samsung Galaxy F22 is priced at Rs.12,499 for the 4GB + 64GB storage version and the high-end variant costs 14,499 for the 6GB + 128GB storage version. During the introductory offer, the 4GB + 64GB will be priced at Rs.11,499. The first sale of the device is going to be live on e-commerce platform site Flipkart from 13th July.
