Huawei P50 Pocket flip was revealed as a foldable flip smartphone like the Galaxy Z Flip3. Huawei also unveiled the Watch D along with this smartphone. The new device comes with a fast refresh rate display, premium design, triple rear camera, Qualcomm’s flagship chipset, decent battery, fast charging, and more.
Huawei P50 Pocket flip features a 6.9 inches OLED display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate, full-HD+ resolution, 1.07 billion colors support, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 21:9 aspect ratio, 442 PPI pixel density, P3 wide color gamut, and 21:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the handset is powered with a Snapdragon 888 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Adreno 660 GPU. There is another 1.04 inches OLED circular display which can show notifications when the smartphone is folded.
The Huawei P50 Pocket flip boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 40-megapixel True Chroma sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel Ultra Spectrum camera which is paired with a 10 channel Multi Spectrum sensor and an Ultra Spectrum illuminator. The Ultra Spectrum camera and its related sensors allows improved image reproduction and help in capturing minute details and produce clear images even in the dark.
The Huawei P50 Pocket flip is packed with a 4000mah battery and supports 40W fast charging. In terms of dimensions, the handset is 7.2mm thick when unfolded and 15.2mm thick when folded and it weighs 190 grams. For connectivity, the device includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It is accompanied by up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
Huawei P50 Pocket flip smartphone comes in two configurations 8GB + 256GB priced at 8,988 yuan and 12GB + 512GB priced at 10,988 Yuan for the Premium Gold Edition only. The company offered the smartphone in three color options namely Obsidian Black, Diamond White, and Premium Gold Edition. The smartphone will go for sale from today in China.
