OPPO K9x was revealed in China as the new member of Oppo K9 series. The series already have Oppo K9, K9 Pro, and K9s and now Oppo added another 5G smartphone. The handset comes with MediaTek 5G chipset, fast refresh rate punch-hole display, triple rear cameras, big battery, fast charging, and more.
OPPO K9x features a 6.5 inches LCD display with a Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution, 90Hz fast refresh rate, and 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Dimenisty 810 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is accompanied by up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage with a dedicated microSD card slot for more storage.
The OPPO K9x boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top left corner. The device is running on Android 11 OS with Color OS 12 skin on top.
The OPPO K9x is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports a 33W fast charger. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 162.2 x 74.5 x 8.81mm and weighs 194 grams. Additionally, the handset sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
OPPO K9x comes in three configurations:- 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. The handset comes in two color options namely Obsidian Warrior and Silver Purple Super Dream. The company hasn’t disclosed the pricing yet but the smartphone is scheduled to go for sale on December 27 via JD.com and other retailers in China.
