Redmi announced the Note 11 series last month in China, adding three new smartphones – Redmi Note 11 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 11+ Pro 5G. Now, the company has expanded the Note 11 series and launched a new smartphone, named Redmi Note 11 4G. The new smartphone comes with a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, a 50MP triple-rear camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery.
Redmi Note 11 4G features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen brings 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It also comes with a 180Hz touch sampling rate and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. On the performance front, the company has offered an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 SoC paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Redmi has provided a dual-SIM (nano) slot that supports 4G networks.
For the front-facing camera, the smartphone sports an 8MP selfie camera on the front panel, with an f/2.0 lens. Speaking about the rear camera, there’s is a triple camera module that brings a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 lens, and a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 lens. As for software, it runs on Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 OS.
The Redmi Note 11 4G comes with 128GB of EMMC 5.1 internal storage, furthermore, users can expand its storage capacity via a microSD card. The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that comes with 18W fast charging. The company claims that it gives up to 24 days of back-up on standby. The phone also supports up to 9W reverse charging.
In terms of connectivity, it provides Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C port, GPS, IR Blaster, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For biometric authentication, the smartphone brings a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Other sensors are an accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. It measures 161.95 x 75.53 x 8.92mm and weighs around 181 grams.
Redmi Note 11 price is set CNY 999 (approximately Rs. 11,700) for the 4GB of RAM with 128GB of storage model. There’s is another model (6GB RAM with 128GB storage) that carries a price tag of CNY 1,099 (approximately Rs. 12,800). The smartphone comes in Dreamy Clear Sky, Mysterious Blackland, and Time Monologue color options. It is currently listed on the China Mi.com website and will go on sale in China starting December 1st.
