Vivo just launched a new 5G smartphone in the Chinese market, called Vivo Y74s. It comes with a waterdrop-style display and a 50MP dual camera sensor on the backside. The handset is offering mid-range specs and features such as MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, an 8GB RAM, and a 4,100mAh battery with 44W fast charging. 

As for specifications and features, the dual-SIM supporting Vivo Y74s runs on Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0 out of the box. The smartphone comes with a 6.58-inch full-HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90.61 percent screen-to-body ratio. The screen has 1080 x 2408 pixels. The Vivo has brought 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM for the device.

For selfies and video calling, Vivo Y74s brings an 8MP front camera with an f/2.0 lens. Speaking about rear penal, there’s a dual-camera setup that houses a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and a 2MP secondary sensor with an f/2.0 lens. Users also get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. 

For storage, the Vivo Y74s has 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, furthermore, storage capacity is expandable via a microSD card (up to 1TB). Vivo has offered a 4,100mAh battery that supports 44W Flash Charge fast charging. In terms of deminsions, it measures 163.84 x 75 x 7.79mm and weighs 175 grams.

In terms of processor, it brings an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC clubbed with Mali G57 GPU. In the connectivity department, it includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, Bluetooth v5.1, 4G LTE, 5G, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors are an accelerometer, ambient light, gyro, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.

The Vivo Y74s has been launched in China that carries a price tag of CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs. 26,800) for the single 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage. It is listed on the Vivo China website. The company has brought two colors for the device, i.e. Galaxy Blue and Starry Night Black. Information about the global availability of the Vivo Y74s are yet to unknown.
